This morning, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, in collaboration with the Atlantic City Police Department and Jewish Family Services, conducted a boardwalk outreach event on Arkansas Avenue. During the event, an encampment with an active fire was discovered under Caesars Pier, leading to the fire's prompt extinguishment and the arrest of the individual responsible. The initiative, following the long holiday weekend, underscores the ACPO's commitment to connecting displaced individuals with essential services.
