Convening a task force with key government and private sector stakeholders to establish a more fair and sustainable funding system for shelters

Illuminating & funding unmet needs – advocating for shelter services for individuals who are medically fragile, deaf, LGBTQIA+, etc.

Developing leadership and advocacy opportunities and training for people with lived experience of homelessness
▶ HEALTH
Bringing mental health & addiction resources onsite at shelters.
Expanding code blue (winter sheltering) funds for extreme heat and all weather emergencies.

Extending Housing Assistance Benefits to NJ residents with disabling conditions.
